However, ageing infrastructure, frequent network failures and inefficient water and wastewater infrastructure pose risks to service quality and the environment. In cross-border areas, it is also important to develop modern and effective solutions for water resource management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>HydroCare<\/em> project will bring together Jastk\u00f3w Commune (PL) and Varash City (UA) to improve water supply and wastewater infrastructure, and share knowledge and practical experience. As part of the project, 2,457 m of sewerage network and two wastewater pumping stations will be constructed in Tomaszowice-Kolonia. In Varash, wastewater pumping stations will be modernised, including the replacement of 13 outdated pumping units and control cabinets with modern, energy-efficient equipment. In addition, 490 m of the water supply network in the Budivelnykiv district will be reconstructed, helping to reduce failures and water losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cross-border knowledge exchange will also play an important role in the project.
