Moreover, we celebrated the 20<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;anniversary of cross-border cooperation between Poland and Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite you to read a summary of the 2023 anniversary year in the Programme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-(Belarus)-Ukraine 2014-2020<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, the Programme was in the final stage of implementation. The sixth version of the Programme Document was approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support for beneficiaries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>52 approved reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>presentation of the Programme and its objectives at many events organised by project beneficiaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>day-to-day telephone and e-mail contacts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The year 2023 brought additional completed projects. As planned, all Large Infrastructure Projects, regular projects, micro-projects and Direct Award projects for Ukraine were completed by the end of 2023. In total, there were 158 projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Large infrastructure<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10 implementred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 completed in 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 settled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regular Projects<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>65 implemented<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>13 completed in 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>36 settled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Microprojects<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>76 implemented<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>27 completed in 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>57 settled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Direct award projects<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7 implemented<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 settled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">joint Monitoring Committee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>26 decisions taken by written procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme Interreg Text Poland &#8211; Ukraina 2021-2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;On 31<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;May 2023, the opening ceremony of the Interreg NEXT Poland \u2013 Ukraine 2021-2027 Programme took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Financing Agreement for the Programme between the European Commission, the Government of Ukraine and the Programme Managing Authority was concluded in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme docyments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Programme Document updated (due to the increase of the Programme budget by over EUR 48 million). The Programme was enriched with new priorities and objectives, its planned implementation indicators were updated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Strategic Environmental Assessment Report for the Programme&nbsp;updated and consulted with the public<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monitoring Committee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 Monitoring Committee meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14 decisions taken by written procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First call for Proposals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>application package and application form in the CST generator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Partner Search Forums in Lublin and Rzesz\u00f3w for representatives of over 200 institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>partner database on the Programme website on an ongoing basis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 training sessions for applicants in all regions covered by the Programme for more than 1,200 participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 open days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Q&amp;A section on the Programme website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>phone and e-mail consultations on a daily basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Results of the 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;call so far:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>247 applications received<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>115 applications under the HEALTH priority evaluated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 best projects under the HEALTH priority selected for financing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Large Infrastructure Projects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 projects were fully prepared by the applicants and approved by the Monitoring Committee for contracting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme promotion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year was full of events \u2013 we did not only summarise 20 years of cross-border cooperation between Poland and Ukraine, but also launched the new 2021-2027 Programme. In addition, we actively promoted the results of the projects on our website and on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>20 events for the 20<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;anniversary of Polish-Ukrainian cross-border cooperation:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201eDobrze mie\u0107 S\u0105siada\u201d, Przemy\u015bl \u2013 inauguracja obchod\u00f3w 20-lecia, a tak\u017ce oficjalne otwarcie Programu Interreg NEXT Polska \u2013 Ukraina 2021-2027 oraz I naboru wniosk\u00f3w<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>19 wydarze\u0144 z udzia\u0142em projekt\u00f3w na ca\u0142ym obszarze Programu (10 w Ukrainie i 9 w Polsce)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Youth Education Campaign &#8220;Stronger, Healthier \u2013 Together!&#8221;, organised on the occasion of the European Cooperation Day 2023 (EC Day 2023)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>study tour for journalists presenting the results of projects funded by the Programme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Wandering Academy&#8221; &#8211; 3 classes at universities in Ukraine and 5 in Poland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grants\u2019 Fair during the Cross-Border Cooperation Congress in Lublin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>as every year, we also participated as partners in a number of events organised by other entities (e.g. East of Culture Festival in Rzesz\u00f3w, Lublin and Bia\u0142ystok etc.) and in numerous events organised by PBU projects in both countries (conferences, openings, grant signing ceremonies, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Publications\/movies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>new edition of\u00a0\u201cThe Crossborderer\u201d magazine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;Project Stories. 2022&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>publication from the International Scientific Conference of the PBU Programme entitled\u00a0&#8220;Security in crisis situations in the border regions of Poland and Ukraine&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/G4pwpu5Coks?si=aiXui-dDBd1thXzV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">broadcast of the event<\/a>&nbsp;&#8220;It&#8217;s good to have a neighbour&#8221;, which took place on 31\/05 in Przemy\u015bl (3 language versions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/mVB6lMTYLHQ?si=zEIw-lOsejM4C3tP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">movie summarising<\/a>&nbsp;the &#8220;It&#8217;s good to have a neighbour&#8221; event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promotional movies about each edition of the Programme:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Neighbourhood Programme&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/HzYH3KlWOMs?si=Q_gj3iBRRWBQ8KiW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Poland-Belarus-Ukraine INTERREG IIIA\/TACIS2 CBC 2004-2006<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cross-Border Cooperation Programme&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5oyBE7dsu9s?si=NcVz38RAV00P5jGO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013 (ENPI)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cross-Border Cooperation Programme&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ZcVfwIlitf8?si=CXKSCuPfFswaz2Cp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020 (ENI)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Programme&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/fUZP5mFHG4c?si=zapVZjvTOchMoKmG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Interreg NEXT Poland\u2013Ukraine 2021-2027<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/icnjBNzIvI0?si=tC78PW1i1NKKSOHK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">movie summarising the 20<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;anniversary<\/a>&nbsp;of cooperation between Poland and Ukraine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_Fdf_HLlh6E?si=4dXx3WvfIgLkmXis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">movie summarising<\/a>&nbsp;the Youth Education Campaign on the occasion of the EC Day 2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competitions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>art competition for children and youth &#8220;ECO borderland&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the\u00a0<em>TouchingThePast<\/em>\u00a0project has been announced one of the 30 finalists of the REGIOSTARS 2023 competition. This was the first ever participation of a PBU project in the final of this competition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>results of the 2022 competition for journalists &#8220;Together for the development of the borderland&#8221; announced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Radio broadcasts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4 summer radio broadcasts about the results of cross-border projects implemented in the Programme area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Website<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>58 news in three languages on the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbu2020.eu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">pbu2020.eu<\/a>&nbsp;website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promotion of the results of the projects as part of our regular cycles:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201eTime for Results\u201d \u2013 6<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201eProject Stories\u201d \u2013 4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8220;PBU in Numbers&#8221; \u2013 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>39 news in three languages on a new website for the Interreg NEXT Poland \u2013 Ukraine 2021-2027 Programme\u00a0pl-ua.eu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Socila media<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, we published 137 posts and the number of people who saw our content exceeded 70 000! The number of people observing our profile has also increased &#8211; it is now more than 3 100, mainly from Poland and Ukraine.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for this special anniversary year, for discovering the results of our projects together with us. Ahead of us is another year of intensive work, settling the Programme and projects of the 2014-2020 perspective and increasingly full implementation of the 2021-2027 Programme. In April we will know the results of the call for proposals in the ENVIRONMENT Priority.
