Co-funded by the PBU Programme, the project\u00a0Invisible heritage: exchange and implementation of good practice in access to culture for persons with a visual impairment\u00a0(acronym\u00a0TouchingThePast<\/em>), is one of the five finalists in the ‘Social and Inclusive Europe’ category of the prestigious Regiostars competition organised by the European Commission. In the competition, the project goes under the name\u00a0Invisible heritage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners of the competition will be selected as a result of a public vote, which began on 14th<\/sup> September and will run until 14th<\/sup> November. Together we have the opportunity to support Invisible heritage<\/strong> project, which works for equal access to cultural heritage for blind and visually impaired people. It is an initiative of The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (PL) and The Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (UA) and aims to create opportunities for people with a visual impairement to participate in cultural life. Through a number of activities, such as the adaptation of cultural resources, education and the exchange of experiences, this project is turning our cultural heritage into a more accessible heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
