The year 2024 marked the end of the Programme PL-BY-UA 2014-2020, the wide opening of the doors of the new edition of PL-UA 2021-2027 and already first preparations for what&nbsp;is planned&nbsp;in the Programme after 2027. Therefore, it was a time of hard work and activities on various fronts.&nbsp;We invite you to read their summary.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"60\" src=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-1024x60.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39864\" style=\"width:780px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-1024x60.png 1024w, https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-300x17.png 300w, https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-768x45.png 768w, https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia.png 1271w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We summarised the implementation of the Programme in the \u2018Evaluation of the impact of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020 on the eligible area.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have prepared the final report of the Programme (soon to be submitted to the Monitoring Committee for approval).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have cleared the remaining 65 interim and final project reports, closing a total of 59 projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We carried out 25 on-the-spot controls of projects.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"61\" src=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-11-1024x61.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39849\" style=\"width:780px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-11-1024x61.png 1024w, https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-11-300x18.png 300w, https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-11-768x46.png 768w, https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-11.png 1270w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"694\" height=\"54\" src=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-12.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39850\" style=\"width:450px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-12.png 694w, https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-12-300x23.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 694px) 100vw, 694px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We prepared two updates to the Programme Document, which included:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an increase in the Programme budget by&nbsp;<strong>over 48 M EUR<\/strong>&nbsp;for the implementation of the ACCESSIBILITY priority (solidarity&nbsp;lanes);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>adding the Small Projects Fund to the ENVIRONMENT priority (Objective 1.4 circular economy);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reallocation of<strong>&nbsp;8.5 M EUR<\/strong>&nbsp;from priority TOURISM to priority ENVIRONMENT;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>expanding the scope of the BORDERS priority and modifying the scope of the priorities: TOURISM, COOPERATION, ACCESSIBILITY;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>updating programme indicators, as well as the list and budgets of intervention categories.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We also updated:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/en\/documents\/pbu-next-2021-2021-strategiczna-ocena-oddzialywania-na-srodowisko\/\">Programme Environmental Assessment Report<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Methodology and values of Programme indicators;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/en\/documents\/strategia-komunikacji-wersja-anglojezyczna\/\">Communication Strategy<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We organised the 4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;meeting of the Monitoring Committee (Krosno).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We also prepared 19 decisions, which were taken by the Committee through written procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We signed partnership agreements for the implementation of tasks for the Programme with the Branch Office in Lviv and Regional Contact Points in the Lubelskie, Podlaskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships (we hope to sign an agreement with the Mazovian Regional Contact Point soon).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have submitted the first request for payment to the European Commission. The application covered the expenditure of the Polish project partners to the tune of over 890 000 EUR, which was confirmed by the controllers and the Joint Secretariat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure priority, worth over<strong>&nbsp;229 M EUR<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring Committee selected for funding 44 projects under the ENVIRONMENT priority with a total value of almost&nbsp;<strong>82 M EUR<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image ENVIRONMENT and COOPERATION (the budget of both SPF totals&nbsp;<strong>10.2 M EUR<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We organised workshops and consultations for both SPF operators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"694\" height=\"54\" Large Infrastructure Projects (priority: ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, TOURISM);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>40 regular projects in the priority ENVIRONMENT;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>19 regular projects in the priority HEALTH.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img equals<strong>&nbsp;66% of the Programme financing for projects.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure Part 1 \u2013 application\u2019 \u2013 updates; \u2018Programme Manual \u2013 Regular Projects.Part 2 \u2013 implementation\u2019 with annexes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018LIP Call for proposals and Implementation Manual\u2019 with annexes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018Manual for Small Projects Funds\u2019 with annexes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We organised Opening Conference of health projects \u2018Priority: HEALTH\u2019 (Jan\u00f3w Podlaski).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We conducted 6 trainings for beneficiaries (3 on the Polish and 3 on the Ukrainian side) on implementation, reporting and visibility rules for a total of over 400 participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We conducted 2 trainings combined with workshops on communication for a total of over 100 participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We supported beneficiaries on a daily basis in the implementation of their projects: fulfilling the Programme&#8217;s obligations, including communication \u2013 developing logos for projects, verifying promotional materials, organising events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We prepared online materials, guidelines, FAQ section on the Programme website and organised consultations for all beneficiaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We supported national and regional institutions in the preparation of non-competitive strategic projects in the ACCESSIBILITY and BORDERS&nbsp;priorities&nbsp;(roads addition to trainings and consultations, i.a:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Youth Educational Campaign \u2018Let&#8217;s follow the common trail!\u2019 on the occasion of Interreg Cooperation Day 2024 and its Final in the Bieszczady Mountains for 80 participants from 16 schools from Poland and Ukraine;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opening Conference of health projects \u2018Priority: HEALTH\u2019 in Jan\u00f3w Podlaski;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 ceremonial events during which the Minister and the Deputy Minister for Development Funds and Regional Policy (Managing Authority of the Programme) signed a total of 9 grant contracts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"28\" class=\"wp-image-39848\" style=\"width: 25px;\" \u2018Borderland is our common home\u2019 in Lviv;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As every year, we also participated as partners in a several events organised by other entities (e.g. in the Europe of the Carpathians in Krasiczyn, the European Funds Open Days, the Economic Forum in Karpacz) and in numerous events organised by PL-UA projects in both countries (conferences, openings, grant contract the PL-UA website;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We created a projects&#8217; database;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We prepared 11 articles presenting the first signed projects;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"28\" class=\"wp-image-39848\" style=\"width: 25px;\" src=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/rozlozenie_EN_01_90-kopia-2.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;We promoted the results of the projects in the series: \u2018Stories from the projects\u2019 \u2013 7 articles;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In 2024, we recorded&nbsp;<strong>200 543 hits<\/strong>&nbsp;on the Programme website and almost 22 000 downloads.
