Why is it so important to maintain the city parks? Well, there are many answers to this question. Apart from the fact that parks are naturally valuable areas and that the plants and trees in parks produce oxygen that improves the air quality in cities, they also provide space for relaxation, meetings and a venue for various events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, due to a lack of funding, some parks are deteriorating and do not fulfil their functions. This is perfectly understood by partners from Poland and Ukraine, who, as part of the EcoParks<\/em> project, have decided to restore biodiversity and restore species composition in the historic parks in Vyshnivets and Tarnobrzeg. In January, we reported on the signing of a partnership agreement under this project (here<\/strong><\/a>), but the partners are not slowing down, and on 14th<\/sup> March they organised a conference entitled \u2018The new life of the historic parks of Vyshnivets and Tarnobrzeg\u2019 in the Tarnowski Castle Museum in Tarnobrzeg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
