Unfortunately, both in Poland and Ukraine, this area receives less funding compared to other branches of medicine. Hospitals struggle with infrastructure, equipment, and staff limitations.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The partners of the <em>CareLikeHome<\/em> project, being implemented within the Interreg NEXT Programme Poland \u2013 Ukraine 2021-2027, aim to support stability and equal access to medical care in the fields of geriatric, palliative, and hospice care. Thanks to this project, three hospital wards \u2013 in Lviv, Ternopil, and Krosno \u2013 will be renovated. Partners will buy three specialised vehicles as well as medical and caregiving equipment. The staff will take part in a study visit and conferences. Guidelines on nutritional standards for patients are planned to be developed.
