On 28 January 2026, a meeting entitled \u201cInterreg and the future MFF\u201d was held at the European Parliament in Brussels, devoted to the implementation of Interreg programmes. The event, organised by the Interact programme and hosted by Member of the European Parliament Vladimir Prebili\u010d, brought together representatives of Interreg programmes, Members of the European Parliament, and representatives of the European Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, success stories of the most effective Interreg projects implemented in Europe and beyond its borders were presented. In addition, participants summarised the current state of cooperation and engaged in a debate on the future of Interreg programmes under the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). The discussions focused on the strategic importance of cross-border cooperation for the stability of the Union and on the need to preserve the distinct character of Interreg programmes from central national plans, while also strengthening the role of regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Interreg NEXT Poland \u2013 Ukraine <\/a>Programme was represented by Ma\u0142gorzata Ch\u0119tko and Jan Stefanowicz from the Territorial Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy. During the meeting, they presented the assumptions and achievements to date of the RehabHelpPL-UA<\/em> project. This innovative initiative uses robotics and artificial intelligence in rehabilitation. In recent days, the project has gained international recognition, having been highlighted, among others, by the TESIM Project, which prepared a dedicated project story<\/a> and video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
