{"id":43875,"date":"2026-02-05T16:58:56","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T14:58:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/?p=43875"},"modified":"2026-02-05T16:35:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T14:35:14","slug":"programme-in-numbers-58-61-km-of-modernised-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/en\/programme-in-numbers-58-61-km-of-modernised-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"Programme in numbers: 58.61 km of modernised roads"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Under the Large Infrastructure Projects (LIPs), partners will reconstruct or upgrade key road sections on both sides of the border, increasing road safety, route capacity, and accessibility to border crossings and transport hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to four projects implemented under the ACCESSIBILITY priority, partners will modernise <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">58.61 km of roads<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>57.76 km<\/strong> of roads outside the TEN-T network<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>0.85 km<\/strong> of roads within the TEN-T network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the projects, partners will, among others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/en\/projekty-i-historie\/crossborderroads\/\">CrossBorderRoads<\/a><\/em><\/strong> \u2013 reconstruct 0.59 km of Road No. 662 in Poland together with a new bridge, and renovate 8.38 km of Road M-19 in Ukraine; construct sidewalks and bicycle paths.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/en\/projekty-i-historie\/bridge850pl-ua\/\">Bridge850PL-UA<\/a><\/em><\/strong> \u2013 modernise 10.54 km of Regional Road No. 850 in Poland and 2.12 km of Road H-22 in Ukraine; improve pavement load-bearing capacity, intersections, and pedestrian and cycling infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/en\/projekty-i-historie\/driveconnect\/\">DriveConnect<\/a><\/em><\/strong> \u2013 reinforce road surfaces and improve drainage on key road sections with a total length of 30.93 km in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and in the Lviv, Zakarpattya, and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblasts; construct sidewalks and bicycle paths and implement an intelligent traffic management system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/pl-ua.eu\/en\/projekty-i-historie\/saferoad4all\/\">SafeRoad4All<\/a><\/em><\/strong> \u2013 reconstruct 5.2 km of Regional Road No. 627 in Poland, as well as a bridge and 0.85 km of access roads (TEN-T) in Terebovlia (UA), install new lighting, sidewalks, drainage systems, and road safety solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects will contribute to improved mobility of people and goods and to strengthening the links of border regions with the TEN-T network and the EU\u2013Ukraine Solidarity Lanes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage you to explore the Programme projects under the ACCESSIBILITY priority.
