We invite you to meet the winners of the \u2018Our Backyard\u2019 competition. As part of the series, we will present the 13 best projects from Poland and Ukraine. Each one includes an original description of the work carried out and photographic or\/and film documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Author\u2019s description of the project:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A green corner with a variety of shrubs located near the Rehabilitation, Education and Care Centre in Mielec was cleaned up and decorated by our students, Radek and Kuba, with the support of their therapists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\uddd1\u200d\ud83c\udf3e What work did we carry out as part of the project?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. We raked up leaves and branches, removed old, discarded flower pots, and dug over the soil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. During the workshops, the boys, with the help of their therapists, built a wooden insect hotel and filled it with natural materials. To complete this project, we used a variety of natural resources, including moss, nutshells, acorns, different types of pine cones, wood chips from various tree species, birch branches, and wood shavings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    There was a lot of work to do, and the results are evident in the photos below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
