… or the PL-UA Programme’s ‘Wandering Academy’ visited 14 locations in 2025: 6 in Ukraine and 8 in Poland. It was a series of meetings with students, during which we presented joint Polish-Ukrainian projects and conducted project workshops. Over 350 people took part in them.
The meetings were attended by students from the oldest secondary school classes and university students of such fields as law, administration, economics and management, European studies, international relations, medicine, pedagogy, history and political science. We discussed the specifics of European Union funds, good practices in projects implemented under the Programme, conducted case studies and presented basic tools for project preparation. The participants then had the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice. The teams’ work resulted in interesting, innovative ideas which, once implemented, could become an impetus for the development of the Polish-Ukrainian border region. Even if these were not yet finished projects, for many participants it was the first step towards their own ventures and the development of skills valued on the labour market.

This year, we visited, among others, the University of Białystok, the State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław, the University College of Enterprise and Administration in Lublin, and the Vincent Pol University in Lublin, as well as six universities in Ukraine – in Rivne, Ternopil, Uzhhorod and Lutsk, as well as the Lviv National Academy of Arts and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Many universities and schools in the Programme area have already declared their willingness to cooperate with us in the coming years, so we will definitely see you on the trail of the Wandering Academy!
