A recent TV broadcast on the local news channel “Suspilne Ternopil” highlights how residents of Ternopil Oblast are already benefiting from the outcomes of our medical projects, while also showcasing ongoing initiatives whose results will become visible in the near future.

The broadcast offers a clear and comprehensive overview of the projects, featuring a studio interview with project representatives, on-site reports from hospitals, where doctors showcase newly acquired equipment and ongoing renovations, and a patient shares her recovery story.

In the studio, Ihor Lishchynskyy, coordinator of the GoldenEye project, explains how the new equipment installed at the Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital has enabled more effective treatment of eye diseases. Tetiana Uhliar, the coordinator of the CareLikeHome project, discusses the establishment of a new palliative care department at the Ternopil Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary.

Moving from specific examples to a broader discussion, Vasyl Khimyak, Head of the Branch Office of the JS in Lviv, elaborates on the Programme’s role in developing the Ukrainian-Polish borderlands, with a particular focus on Ternopil Oblast.
