The Agency of Regional Development in Ternopil Region announced the call for projects under the Small Projects Fund (CrossEco), PRIORITY 1. ENVIRONMENT.
Specific objective 1.4. Promoting the transition to a circular and resource efficient economy.
Funding under this Small Projects Fund will be provided only to small projects implemented in a Polish-Ukrainian partnership, that demonstrate a broad cross-border impact, real cooperation between partners and sustainable products.
Applications may be submitted from 05.05 to 24.06.2026, 11:59 p.m. (EET), only in electronic version using a dedicated system – the Generator available at www.crosseco.eu.
The Programme funds allocated for co-financing projects under this call is 4 089 076 EUR.
Basic principles of small projects
- TOPICS: culture, education, health and safety
- GRANT VALUE: 20 000 – 90 000 EUR
- CO-FUNDING: up to 90% of eligible expenditure
- DURATION: maximum 12 months
- PARTNERSHIP RULES: at least one partner from Poland and one partner from Ukraine, both from the Programme area
- ELIGIBLE AREA – the entire Programme area, i.e.:
Poland – voivodeships: Podlaskie, Mazowieckie (subregions: ostrołęcki and siedlecki), Lubelskie, Podkarpackie
Ukraine – oblasts: Lviv, Volyn, Zakarpattya, Rivne, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk - ELIGIBLE INSTITUTIONS: local and regional authorities, their subordinate bodies and non-governmental organisations with legal personality from the following categories: units of state, regional and local administration, associations of these units and institutions subordinate to them; other public law entities (e.g., chambers, government administration bodies); administrations and managements of nature protection areas, such as national parks, nature parks, landscape parks, biosphere reserves, etc.; entities administering forest areas and state forest holdings with their organisational units; units of higher education and research institutions; non-governmental organisations.
The projects should include activities from the following categories:
- joint initiatives for the improvement of household waste management and residual waste treatment and promoting innovative solutions related to the transition to a circular economy;
- promoting rational waste management and raising awareness of challenges concerning environmental issues.
