We have started work on the preparation of a new Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Programme for the years 2021-2027. It will be implemented within the framework of the "European Territorial Cooperation" objective. (Interreg) and the Neighbourhood, International Cooperation and Development Instrument.

The basic proposals of legal regulations defining the rules of Programme implementation are already known:

- Proposal for a REGULATION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL establishing a Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument.

- Proposal for a REGULATION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL laying down common provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund, and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and financial rules for those and for the Asylum and Migration Fund, the Internal Security Fund and the Border Management and Visa Instrument.

- Proposal for a REGULATION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL on specific provisions for the European territorial cooperation goal (Interreg) supported by the European Regional Development Fund and external financing instruments.

- Proposal for a REGULATION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL on the European Regional Development Fund and on the Cohesion Fund.

One of the most important decisions concerning the new Programme is the selection of Thematic Objectives to be implemented by the Programme. In accordance with the assumptions of the above-mentioned regulations, the Programme must focus on a few selected issues (thematic concentration).

We want the entities operating in the border area to have an influence on this key decision, therefore we invite you to fill in a questionnaire concerning the topics which the new Programme is to develop. When filling in the questionnaire, we ask you to indicate what in your opinion is the most important for the development of the Programme area, which of the objectives deserve to be undertaken in a new perspective.

Your answers will be taken into account in the discussion on the scope of the future Programme. We kindly ask you to fill in the questionnaire by 9 October this year. (The first meeting of the Joint Programming Committee is scheduled for 11 October, it will take into account your answers).
