Public consultations of the Interreg NEXT Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2021-2027

We invite you to take part in the public consultations of the strategy part of the Programme document for the Interreg NEXT Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2021-2027.

The aim of the public consultations is to collect opinions and remarks concerning solutions proposed within the Programme. The comments submitted within the consultations will be taken into consideration by the Joint Programming Committee responsible for the preparation of the NEXT PBU Programme.

Public consultations are open to all interested in the development of the Polish-Belarusian-Ukrainian borderland, especially representatives of central authorities, local governments, and their units, socio-economic partners, NGOs, academic circles.

In order to comment the document, please fill in the form by 10 January 2021.

All the comments submitted within the deadline will be taken into consideration during the preparation of the final version of the Programme.

Basic information about the Programme

Interreg NEXT Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2021-2027 is the fourth programme period, which supports the processes of development of the Polish-Belarusian-Ukrainian borderland by co-financing various projects. The Programme area covers neighbouring border regions of Poland, Belarus and Ukraine:

- Poland: Białostocki, Łomżyński, Suwalski, Ostrołęcki, Siedlecki, Bialski, Lubelski, Puławski, Chełmsko-Zamojski, Przemyski, Rzeszowski, Tarnobrzeski, Krośnieński subregions;

- Belarus: Hrodna, Brest and Homel Oblasts, Minsk Oblast (including the city of Minsk);

- Ukraine: Volyn, Lviv, Zakarpattya, Rivne, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblasts.

The projects, that could be implemented within the Programme, should fit into one of the five priorities:

  • Priority - Environment
    • Specific Objective: Promoting climate change adaptation, risk prevention and disaster resilience
    • Specific Objective: Promoting sustainable water management
    • Specific Objective: Enhancing biodiversity, green infrastructure in the urban environment and reducing pollution
  • Priority - Health
    • Specific Objective: Improving accessibility, effectiveness and resilience of health care systems and long-term care services across borders
  • Priority - Tourism
    • Specific Objective: Enhancing the role of culture and tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation
  • Priority - Cooperation
    • Specific Objective: Increasing the efficiency of public administration by promoting legal and administrative cooperation as well as cooperation between citizens and institutions, in particular to eliminate legal obstacles and other barriers in border regions
    • Specific Objective: Creating mutual trust by encouraging actions to facilitate people – to – people contacts
  • Priority - Borders
    • Specific Objective: Actions in the border crossing management area
