On 15th December 2023 The Programme Monitoring Committee approved the results of the first call for proposals in the HEALTH Priority. The Committee decided to co-finance 20 projects (projects list) out of 115 applications submitted and created a reserve list of 28 projects for possible future contracting.
Appreciating the quality of the submitted applications, in order to finance more of them, the Committee decided to move EUR 2.55 MEUR from the COOPERATION priority (specific objective 4.1) to the HEALTH priority. In order to finance the additional projects, it was also necessary to reduce the co-financing rate for them from 90% to 83%.
The selected projects come from all 10 eligible regions of the Programme. The total amount of co-financing awarded is 39.92 MEUR.
The Joint Secretariat is now proceeding to inform all applicants under the HEALTH priority of the Committee's decision, and will start contracting with applicants who accept the offer of funding with a view to signing the grant contracts.
The Monitoring Committee has established also the reserve list of projects for possible future financing – subject to availability of funds (reserve list of projects).
