Project idea (in English):

We are reaching out with a proposal for cooperation within the Interreg NEXT grant program to implement projects aimed at improving medical services and accessibility for our patients. About Us The Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise "Horodok Central Hospital" is located in Horodok, Lviv Oblast, just 50 km from the Polish border (Shehyni checkpoint). Our hospital serves over 65,000 residents of three territorial communities with 232 beds, 286 medical staff (119 doctors and 167 nurses), and 11 specialized departments: from emergency medical care to nephrology and dialysis. In wartime conditions, we particularly strive to develop medical services according to European standards and ensure high-quality, safe, and accessible medical care for all categories of patients. We offer expertise in wartime healthcare adaptation, experience in serving rural communities, and strong local government support. This would be our first international partnership as a healthcare institution, though our director brings extensive experience in international cooperation from her previous role as a project manager at the city council, where she successfully implemented multiple projects. Our Project Ideas We have developed five priority directions for potential funding: 1."Medicine Without Barriers" – creating barrier-free access to all hospital departments and implementing a comprehensive approach that considers the physical and psychological needs of patients. This is particularly relevant given the growing number of people with disabilities due to the war. 2."Digital Laboratory" – implementing an electronic patient notification system for test results and expanding the laboratory's technical capabilities. The project involves automatic notifications via SMS and email, which will reduce queues and staff workload. 3."Central Sterilization" – modernizing the central sterilization unit according to Ministry of Health and EU standards with the purchase of a plasma autoclave. This will reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infections and improve the quality of medical services. 4."Healthy Motherhood – Healthy Future" – increasing the level of preventive examinations and women's education with the purchase of modern gynecological equipment. This includes launching a "School of Responsible Parenting" and information campaigns. 5."Therapeutic Nutrition of the Future" – improving the quality of patient nutrition through the purchase of modern kitchen equipment and implementation of innovative food preparation technologies. This will ensure the preservation of vitamins and microelements in meals. Our Proposal We are seeking a reliable partner for joint participation in the Interreg NEXT grant program. We are ready for close cooperation, experience exchange, and mutual learning. Our strategic location near the Polish border creates natural opportunities for cross-border healthcare collaboration and knowledge sharing. We would welcome the opportunity to schedule a call or meeting to discuss potential collaboration in detail. If your organization is interested in cooperation or if you know potential partners who could join such projects, we would be grateful for your response. We are ready to provide additional information about any of the projects, including preliminary budgets and expected outcomes, and discuss cooperation opportunities. With respect and hopes for fruitful cooperation, Administration of MNE "Horodok Central Hospital"
