The Fund covers the entire Polish-Ukrainian border area. The initiative aims to strengthen the potential of local communities and develop cross-border partnerships. Funding will be available for small projects that bring tangible benefits to residents and institutions on both sides of the border. Local government units and non-governmental organisations with legal personality are eligible to apply for funding.
The specific objective of the COOPERATION priority, in which the Fund is implemented is ” Build up mutual trust, in particular by encouraging people-to-people actions”.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SMALL PROJECTS
• GRANT VALUE FOR A SMALL PROJECT : 20 000 – 90 000 EUR
• CO-FINANCING: up to 90%
• DURATION: max 12 months
• PARTNERSHIP: at least one partner from Poland and one partner from Ukraine
• SUBJECT AREA: activities implemented in the areas of: culture, education, health and safety will be supported
• TERRITORY: Programme area (voivodeships: Podlaskie, Mazowieckie (Ostrołęcki and Siedlecki regions only), Lublelskie, Podkarpackie and six regions in Ukraine: Lviv, Volyn, Zakarpattya, Rivne, Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk)
