We took part in the Final of the 12th edition of the European Funds Days in Kraśnik

02.06.2025

In 2025, for the second time since joining the European Union, Poland holds the Presidency of the Council of the EU. The Final of the 12th edition of the European Funds Days, therefore, became an opportunity to present the objectives achieved, summarise the results of the implementation of EU projects, and highlight the successes of the Polish model of investing European funds. This year’s European Funds Days in the Lubelskie took place in Kraśnik.

The European Funds Days are an excellent opportunity to remind people that thanks to these funds, the Lubelskie Voivodeship is undergoing a real transformation. From modern infrastructure, through the development of transport and healthcare, to access to culture, education, social services and green energy – EU funds affect all spheres of life. Our region is gaining new perspectives and our inhabitants new opportunities.

said Jarosław Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship

We also took part in this event with an information stand, as we continue – both now and in previous editions of the Programme – to actively support the development of the regions covered by the Programme, as well as our Ukrainian partner regions. As part of the joint celebration of the European Funds Days, the Regional Contact Point of the Programme in Lublin organised an information stand. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the results of Polish-Ukrainian projects and find out about upcoming project calls planned within the Programme. For the youngest participants, there were attractive knowledge contests about the EU and cross-border cooperation.

The highlight of this year’s celebrations was undoubtedly the presentation of project achievements. Event participants had the opportunity to learn about the activities carried out by the Polish partner of the ClimSafe project, the Regional Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Lublin, which are aimed at improving the efficiency of firefighting and rescue services. On the other hand, the Voivodeship Occupational Medicine Centre, Prevention and Treatment Unit in Lublin, which implements the RISE2HEALTH project, conducted informational activities and enabled the participants of the event to carry out preventive tests, such as blood pressure and blood glucose measurements.

It was undoubtedly an opportunity to learn more about joint Polish-Ukrainian initiatives. We invite everyone to participate in future events bringing closer the topics and scope of EU projects.
