First results and extension of the survey on the future of the Programme

10.08.2026

Thank you for your participation in the survey on the future directions of cross-border cooperation under the Interreg Poland – Ukraine 2028-2034 Programme.

To date, we have received 64 responses:

Below, we present the number of responses received from each region covered by the Programme:

Among the topics identified as important for future Polish-Ukrainian cross-border cooperation, the following are most prominent:

  • protection, development and promotion of cultural heritage and tourism services;
  • civil protection, risk and disaster management and health security;
  • nature-based climate-resilience measures;
  • performance of health systems.

We would like to thank all institutions and organisations that have already shared their views with us. Special thanks go to stakeholders from the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, whose completed surveys account for more than 60% of all responses received!

The survey is one of the elements of the ongoing work on the Interreg Poland – Ukraine 2028-2034 Programme. Following the approval of its four priorities – RESILIENCE, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT and COOPERATION – further work is now underway to define its thematic scope. Your responses will help us further specify the key thematic areas and activities to be included in the future Programme.

We want the survey results to reflect as closely as possible the needs and expectations of the entire Programme area. We therefore encourage institutions and organisations from all Programme regions in Poland and Ukraine to actively participate in the survey.

Given the importance of the views collected for further work on the Programme, we have decided to extend the deadline for completing the survey until 31 August 2026.

The survey is available HERE.

We also encourage you to share information about the survey with other potentially interested institutions and organisations.

Every opinion matters. We look forward to receiving your responses until 31 August and thank you in advance for your participation!
