How can local communities become more resilient and better prepared to respond to emergencies? This was the focus of a recent radio interview on Suspilne Rivne, featuring two projects implemented in the region with the support of the Programme – FireProtection and Fire&Waterproof.
Tetyana Davydyuk, project coordinator, and Vasyl Bondarchuk, project advisor, highlighted the importance of installing 100 fire hydrants in Rivne as part of Fire&Waterproof – a step towards improving fire safety infrastructure in the city.
Oleksandr Mysiura, Head of the Community Development Department of the Hoshcha Town Council, shared how FireProtection project is helping rural communities by creating and strengthening voluntary rescue squads.
Vasyl Khimyak, the Head of Lviv BO also joined the discussion to provide a broader view of the Programme’s impact in the region and its contribution to strengthening cross-border cooperation.
