We invite you to listen to radio programmes dedicated to projects implemented under the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine Programme. The winter holidays are a perfect opportunity to revisit the materials produced within the Programme in 2025 and to hear how Polish–Ukrainian cooperation is implemented in practice in border regions. This was another instalment of the Programme’s communication activities, carried out simultaneously in regional media in Poland and Ukraine.
Radio programmes and media materials in Poland
The broadcasts featured the following Polish–Ukrainian projects:
- CleanBug – “Clean Bug – joint activities of the Drohiczyn Commune and the Dobrotvir Town Council for protecting biodiversity of the Bug Valley”
- IFSynergy – “IFSynergy – cross-border cooperation in SMART management of public water supply systems in Ivano-Frankivsk and Siedlce”
- ClimSafe – “Joint promotion and implementation of activities related to climate change resilience – natural disasters and fires”
- EcoParks – “New historical life of Wiśniowiec and Tarnobrzeg parks”
The materials were broadcast on regional stations of Polish Radio, respectively:

- Mazowieckie Voivodeship – Radio dla Ciebie
- Lubelskie Voivodeship – Radio Lublin
- Podkarpackie Voivodeship – Radio Rzeszów

At the same time, the Programme’s information activities were also carried out on the Ukrainian side, in the form of radio programmes, television broadcasts and video materials.

- Fire&Waterproof – “FIRE & WATERPROOF. Cooperation of the civil protection services of Lublin and Rivne”
- Future4Kids – “Children are the future – investments to improve the quality and accessibility of medical services at children’s hospitals in Białystok and Mukachevo”
- BugUnitesUs (2014–2020) – “Bug Unites Us – creation of two cross-border touristic kayak trails”
- CleanBugRiver – “Protection of the border Bug River by expanding the sanitary network in the border communes of Dołhobyczów and Sokal”
- WaterWatch – “Monitoring the quality of raw water used in the production of drinking and recreational water, for chemical and microbiological hazards, including agents causing infectious diseases that result from human activity”
- BugGuardians (2014–2020) – “Young Local Guardians of Bug Valley Nature”

These broadcasts significantly strengthened the visibility of the Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine Programme 2021–2027 on both sides of the border and, thanks to airtime in favourable time slots, made it possible to reach a wide audience in border regions. They also created a space for discussion on the real needs of border regions and the effects of Polish–Ukrainian cooperation implemented under the Programme.
