We invite you to meet the winners of the ‘Our Backyard’ competition. As part of the series, we will present the 13 best projects from Poland and Ukraine. Each one includes an original description of the work carried out and photographic or/and film documentation.

🪻‘Our Backyard’ project

Participants: pupils, age 16–18
Author’s description of the project:
Four young people aged 16–18 with severe intellectual disabilities took part in the project. The participants tidied up the area in front of the centre they attend.
🧑🌾 What activities did we carry out within this project?
1/ Raked up the leaves
2/ Cleaned the windowsill
3/ Planted heather in pots
4/ Treated the bird feeder
5/ Filled the bird feeder with birdseed
The work was carried out in stages over three days.
