How to behave in an emergency situation? How does rescue equipment work? What can each of us do for the environment? Answers to these and many other questions will be available during the “Rescue Services Picnic”, which will take place on 19 June 2026 from 11:00 to 13:30 in the Lesya Ukrainka Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Lutsk.
The event is organised by the Lviv Branch of the Joint Secretariat in cooperation with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) and the Lutsk City Council, with the participation of the RESPONSE, HydroGuard, WildInCity and SafeSewerage projects.
Participants will be able to take part in practical demonstrations, games and competitions, meet rescue services, and enjoy numerous opportunities to learn through play. Both children and adults will have the chance to learn more about safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental protection.
Programme highlights include:
- an obstacle course and safety-related challenges,
- a demonstration of rescue and firefighting equipment,
- interactive educational games,
- a nature quiz with prizes,
- a prize wheel with questions about the European Union, the Programme and projects,
- presentation of the GreenKa mobile game,
- meetings and conversations with rescuers and firefighters,
- ice cream for participants.
We invite pupils, parents, teachers, and all residents interested in safety and environmental protection.
