We invite you to participate in the online event “Cross-border environment in practice: what are projects changing in border regions?”, which will take place on 18 June, 09:30–12:00 (CEST).
The meeting is organised by the European Commission project TESIM and will focus on the role of cross-border cooperation projects in environmental protection and improving the quality of life in border regions.
The event will bring together representatives of projects implemented under five Interreg NEXT programmes, including beneficiaries of the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine Programme.

During the meeting, participants will discuss experiences and practical solutions in areas such as:
- Protecting and managing ecosystems, including species and habitat conservation and sustainable ecosystem management;
- Greener and cleaner environments, including urban green infrastructure, pollution reduction, waste and recycling, water-related actions;
- Enabling change through people, knowledge and behaviour, including awareness, education, capacity building and long-term sustainability of project results.
The event will be an opportunity to exchange experience and learn about good practices from various cross-border cooperation programmes.
