The Regional Contact Point of the Interreg NEXT Poland –Ukraine 2021-2027 Programme in Lublin is pleased to invite you to the event titled “Together Safer – Children’s Day with the Interreg PL–UA Programme”, which will take place on 14 June 2026, from 13:00 to 17:00, at the pitch of the Wincenty Witos Primary School in Motycz.
The event is organised in cooperation with the projects WaterProtect, ZeroHeracleum, and WaterGardens. Participants will be able to take part in educational activities and thematic workshops, including:
- “How to protect the environment? – waste segregation”
practical activities on proper waste sorting and recycling principles; - “Why is water so important for everyone?”
a workshop highlighting the importance of water for health, daily life, and the functioning of the environment; - “Invasive plant species – what they look like, what threats they pose, and how to avoid them”
educational activities presenting the risks related to the spread of invasive species; - first aid demonstration,
aimed at increasing knowledge and skills in responding to life-threatening situations; - EU knowledge quiz,
promoting awareness of cross-border cooperation.
In addition to the educational part, participants will be able to enjoy a range of attractions, including dance shows, sports competitions, inflatable playgrounds, a mini photo booth, as well as games and activities.
