The project aims to promote circular economy principles and sustainable waste management practices in municipal water supply and wastewater services through cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and Poland. Lvivvodokanal Municipal Utility is interested in implementing pilot “Zero Waste Water Utility” approaches, including waste reduction, waste sorting and reuse practices, improvement of environmental performance of municipal services, and exchange of experience and best practices with Polish partners. The project may include an environmental audit of waste streams within the utility, implementation of small demonstration solutions, eco-education activities for local communities and utility staff, and development of practical approaches for more sustainable operation of urban water infrastructure. The initiative will contribute to pollution reduction, increased environmental awareness, and the implementation of circular economy principles in the municipal sector.
