We remind you that according to Ukrainian legislation and the "Programme Manual - Regular projects. Part 2 - Implementation", projects involving partners from Ukraine must be registered by the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (the procedure is described in section 1.3 of the Manual, this requirement also applies to large infrastructure projects).
The Joint Secretariat sends relevant letters to the Lead Partners after signing their grant contracts.
As reported by the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (SCMU), last week the European Commission informed the Ukrainian side about the completion of all procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Financing Agreement for the Interreg NEXT Poland – Ukraine Programme, which defines the terms of financial cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union (the Agreement entered into force on June 13, 2024).
Ukrainian project partners can bear the costs within the grant received from the Programme only after registering the project with the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (according to the current legislation).
